You'd hand her all the stuff and then she'd simply go 'FOOLISH MORTAL' and go on a rampage, slaughtering your whole party.

Maybe she could be some ultimate boss o.o

The crafter isn't bugged. It's just that he only crafts armor for casters. If you talk to him with a warrior or ranger he won't let you craft anything. He crafts near max armor (57 AL) for 1k + crafting materials.

OMG that wallpaper is creepy. Hey, anyone remember that area outside of Fort Ranik in pre? Kind of like a secret forest or soemthing. Maybe that has something to do with it. And u ever break red iris down? Red means the color or resembling blood. Iris was the goddess of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. Maybe gwen worships some kind of blood goddess or IS a blood goddess zomg! That would kinda explain that creepy wallpaper.

All these items are here to unlock a secret profession known as "The Gwens".

I'll tell you how, listen carefully.

First you have to collect 5 flowers pre searing but don't give them to her, buy a flute as well, again don't give her anything.

After you destroy ascalon you grab the tattered girls cape and the broken flute, you run to the river to the south east and stand in the water for exactly 95 seconds. After the 95 seconds are up you quit the game (exactly 95 seconds). Next find rurik, talk to him 13 times, on the 13th time leave the window up and go open your fridge door 13 times (closing it each time of course).

Once this is done close the window and go back to the river. Stand in it and equip the cape as a weapon and the BROKEN flute as your shield. Equip each of the 5 flowers as your armor.

Wait another 95 seconds and quit your game again.

When you get on your char again it will have transformed into a Gwen.

Gwen is a very imba profession with such skill as "Randomly stand around not helping", "Heal 20 whenever I feel like it", and "Spin in a circle while the Me/W gets owned in front of her very eyes".

If you guys attempt this and mess up your cd will blow up and it will delete it's self from your computer, FBI agents will walk into your house and inject something into your neck making you forget your CD key if for some insane reason you had memorized it.

Everything you touch will turn to ash and jesus will spit in your face.

Two questions:

Is Mingus the Meek still active, south of Fisherman's Haven? I saw plenty of bosses, but I didn't attack the whole region... and none of them dropped a cloak.
Has anyone found the Dead Flower yet?

By the way, WhiteWasabi, that 'shopped pic of yours was MEAN! ...but, okay, a little funny.

I strongly feel that everything depends on that elusive little flower. I hear people on threads saying, "Oh yeah, I'm off to find the flower!!"... and then nothing. I've asked around Ascalon and LA. A few people say they remember seeing it, but no one can say for sure.

Also. Those who say that ANet has a statement about Gwen, can you post a link or something?

...You know what I want? I want to defeat a Monk boss and watch him drop a Gwen's Cryptex. That would be friggin' sweet.

About your first question there Alchemist, there was an update some time ago that said something to the effect of "Removed a useless NPC in Stingray Strand." I think that was referring to Mingus. :/

I think it is possible that the mystery of Gwen will be solved in some upcoming chapter but it may be that there is no reward attached. I would still want to know. It is like Richard Kimball's one-armed man, or going to Oz to see the Wizard.
